Abdullah Shah is the current Business Unit Head at Oware Technologies. Abdullah has previously worked at TCS Private Limited from May 2016 to September 2021. In their role at TCS, Abdullah was responsible for planning robust and effective business strategy to drive sustainable growth and continuous improvement in the business model. This included devising annual budgets for all verticals of the business, exploring means of disruptive growth in Local and International Web, Corporate and Consumer business verticals, and ensuring effective compartmentalization of the business unit to ensure comfortable offline and online customer journey with enhanced focus on excellent customer experience. Additionally, Abdullah was responsible for profit optimization through strong supplier negotiations locally and internationally, restructuring of costing mechanism and pricing/repricing of products, as well as driving for operational excellence in an ā€œoperationally ultra-sensitiveā€ business by devising, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving last mile operational procedures for seamless end-to-end execution. Lastly, they were responsible for selection and recruitment of ā€œbest fitā€ candidates from the industry, as well as optimizing job roles of existing teams to ensure resource optimization and preventing employee burnout situation in a fast-paced business model.

Abdullah Shah has a Master of Philosophy in Business Administration and Management from Karachi University as well as a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the same school. Abdullah is certified by the World Education Services in Verified International Academic Qualifications and by Franklin Covey in Frontline Skills Development Program (FSDP). Abdullah is also certified by DHL Express Pakistan (Pvt) Limited in Best In Class (BIC).
