Daniel Brousseau, P.Eng., currently serves as a Senior Operations Engineer at Ovintiv, where responsibilities include managing projects to reduce GHG emissions, improving safety measures for flare stacks, and ensuring the reliable operation of various facilities. Prior roles include Operations Engineer positions at both Ovintiv and Encana Corporation, where Daniel focused on developing cost-effective solutions, scoping capital projects, and serving as a subject matter expert in risk assessment workshops. Earlier in the career, Daniel worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Enbridge and as a Mechanical EIT at Spectra Energy, providing front line engineering support for natural gas processing plants. Daniel's earlier roles also include engineering co-op positions at Silian Sapphire Corporation and Rio Tinto Alcan. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
