Chad Gourgues, P.E. is a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Ovintiv since January 2020, specializing in providing technical support to asset teams and developing reservoir engineering competencies while facilitating knowledge sharing in the field. Prior to this role, Chad served at Encana Corporation from January 2012 to January 2020, holding various positions including Senior Reservoir Engineer, where contributions included reservoir characterization and completion optimization, as well as experience as a Completion Engineer and Production Engineer overseeing multistage fracture completions and workover operations. Chad holds a B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, completed in 2011, and graduated from Brother Martin High School in 2007.
