Nicolas ENGEL has extensive work experience in various roles related to payment and fraud management. Nicolas is currently working as the Head of Payment and Fraud Management at OVHcloud since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Managed Risk Solution at CyberSource from September 2019 to June 2022. Nicolas also held multiple roles at SEPHORA, including Head of Omnichannel Payment Strategy and Ecommerce Fraud EU, Head of digital Payment and Fraud, and eCommerce Fraud Manager. Before that, Nicolas worked as the Chef de Projet Fraudes at Virgin Mobile France - Omer Telecom, where they were responsible for fraud and risk management. Nicolas began their career at SFR, where they held the role of Responsable pole investigation and Gestionnaire client - Service des Obligations Légales. Nicolas also had a brief internship at Ducati West Europe.
Nicolas ENGEL earned a Licence Pro DATA MINING - Traitement et décision de l'information degree from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée in the years 2001-2002. During this program, they studied Data Mining, Base de Données, Statistiques, SQL, BO, SAS, ACCESS, SGBDR. Prior to that, they completed a DEUG Science de la Matière degree from the same university from 1999 to 2001. Their studies during that time focused on subjects such as Physique, chimie, optique, mécanique, informatique, mathématiques.
