Jakob Schiller is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Communications and Organic Content at Central New Mexico Community College since November 2019. In addition, Jakob has been a Gear Columnist, Marketing Manager, and Gear Editor at Outside since July 2015. Previous roles include Chief Marketing Officer at Taos Bar from October 2018 to November 2019 and Reporter at WIRED from 2011 to 2015. Jakob also taught English and Journalism at the University of New Mexico from 2009 to 2014. Educational background includes a Master of Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley (2004-2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2001-2003).
