Kat Gilbert is a current Software Engineer and Cloud Applications Intern at Outrider, having previously held the position of Engineer I at Carvana. Kat's experiences at Carvana included immersing in agile team processes, enhancing a high-traffic site through the overhaul of its FAQ/Article sections using Strapi CMS, and implementing various reusable components within a React Micro Frontend architecture. Earlier, as an Engineering Intern at Carvana, Kat demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Jira, and React while contributing to multiple projects and collaborating on a cross-functional initiative with peers. Prior to that, Kat completed training in full-stack frontend JavaScript at Grand Circus and managed inventory and apprenticeships across multiple locations for Parlour 3, Hunter Paige, and Barbour 3. Kat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University, with a focus on Interpersonal Communication and Sociology.
