Alex Emrick has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. They started their career as an Edison Engineering Intern at General Electric - Energy Connections, where they were responsible for executing UL tests and designing test fixtures. They then interned as a Hardware Engineering Intern at Uber Advanced Technologies Group before joining as a Test Engineer in the same company. Alex later transitioned to Uber Technologies LLC as a Track Test Automation Engineer before moving to Aurora as a Sr Triage Engineer. At Aurora, they also served as a Senior Technical Program Manager. They then moved to Embark Trucks as a Product Operations Manager and currently hold the position of Technical Program Manager at Outrider.

Alex Emrick attended Thomas Worthington High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a High School Diploma. They then pursued higher education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2014 to 2018. Alex earned a Bachelor's Degree in Robotics Engineering with Minors in Data Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering during their time at the institute.
