Kevin Carlson has held various roles in the software engineering field since 2013. Kevin began as a Physics Division Summer Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2013, followed by a Computing Sciences Student Intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2014. In 2015, they were a Software Engineering Intern at ViaSat Inc. Kevin then worked as a Software Engineer at OpenTable from 2016 to 2018, and is currently a Member of Technical Staff at Samsara, Inc since 2018. Kevin is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Pathpoint since 2020.

Kevin Carlson attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science.
