Kerry Pannell currently serves as the Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs at Otterbein University, having transitioned into this role in July 2024. Prior to this position, Pannell was the Provost at Presbyterian College from June 2021 to July 2024 and held the role of Vice President for Academic Programs at the Council of Independent Colleges from February 2019 to June 2021. Pannell’s extensive experience in academia includes significant leadership roles at Agnes Scott College and DePauw University, where Pannell served in various capacities, including Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. Pannell began the academic career as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Bowdoin College. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and both a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder.
