Janice Bissonnette is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and research. Currently serving as an Affiliate Researcher NP/PhD at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since September 2000, Janice has also been an Advanced Practice Nurse and Clinical Health Researcher at The Ottawa Hospital since 1985. Previously, Janice worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Queensway Carleton Hospital from January 2000 to September 2005. Janice holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Renal Transplantation and chronic disease management from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Diploma from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Nursing, also from the University of Ottawa, focused on Chronic Disease Management. Additionally, Janice participated in a leadership program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management combined with the University of Ottawa and Ottawa Hospital.
