Rupesh Patel is an Intermediate Data Engineer at the City of Ottawa since September 2021, having previously worked as a Business Intelligence professional with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from May to August 2021. In the role at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Rupesh Patel utilized Microsoft SQL Server SSIS and SSRS to build a comprehensive data management platform, while also integrating MS SQL Server with Oracle databases using Oracle Data Integrator. Rupesh participated in the creation of a performance and talent management database through the Kimball approach and developed visualizations in Power BI. Rupesh Patel holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Intelligence System Infrastructure from Algonquin College, a Post Graduate Diploma in Process Quality Engineering from Conestoga College, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University.
