Giovanna Hidalgo, MBA, MScIM, is an experienced financial analyst currently employed by the City of Ottawa since March 2023. Prior roles include financial analyst positions at MacEwen Petroleum Inc. and IKEA, as well as a business analyst role at IKEA. Additionally, Giovanna has served as an Administrative Operation Manager at Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network and worked as a financial advisor and mutual funds representative at Scotiabank. Giovanna began their career as a Senior Commercial Advisor at BLADEX, focusing on the evaluation of customer financial behavior and assisting clients with various financial objectives.
