Corey Desormeaux is an experienced professional with a diverse background in communications and strategic support, currently serving as a Manager for the City of Ottawa since September 2016. Previous roles include a managerial position and a Strategic Support Coordinator in Communications & Information Management for Finance Services, as well as providing communications support for the Emergency & Protective Services Department. Corey also co-owned Kings Stay Kings, a men's fashion accessory store, from April 2018 to June 2023, contributing creative and strategic direction. Earlier experience includes serving as Managing Editor and Co-Host of the Habs Banter Podcast for All Habs and working in various capacities within Ottawa Fire Services and Ottawa Public Health. Corey Desormeaux holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Carleton University.
