Dr. Allison Fleetwood has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Dr Allison is currently the Head of Market Research at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies Europe since January 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director at Gecko Pharma Analysis Ltd from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Therapy Watch at Research Partnership from October 2013 to January 2015. Dr. Fleetwood also held various roles at Pharma Intelligence | Informa, including Director of Forecasting & Director of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Diseases, Director of Immunology, Inflammation & Respiratory Diseases, Director of Strategic Development, Director of Market Research, Director of Emerging Markets Disease Portfolio, and Director of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Diseases. Dr Allison worked at Pharma Intelligence | Informa from 2004 to 2013. Earlier in their career, Dr. Fleetwood was employed at GlaxoSmithKline as the European Commercial Analysis Manager Cardiovascular & Urology and the Global Commercial Analysis Manager Infectious Diseases & Hepatitis. Dr Allison started their career at Arthur Andersen, where they worked as a Healthcare Corporate Finance Analyst and an Assurance & Business Advisory Auditor Commercial Markets.

Dr. Allison Fleetwood completed their education in the field of medical oncology. Dr Allison earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from The University of Manchester, where they focused on medical oncology from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, completing their studies in 1991. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained certification in Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales from ICAEW in August 1999.
