Elif Toy is an experienced professional in the field of automotive and mechatronics engineering, currently serving as the Autonomous Vehicle Development Group Manager at OTOKAR Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi A.Ş. since November 2020, where responsibilities include developing future vehicle technologies. Previously, Elif held the position of Autonomous Car Specialist at Okan University, contributing to collaborations with industry on projects such as the OTOKAR-OKAN University Level 3 Bus Development and the Horizon 2020 MODALES Project. Elif's career also includes roles as a Systems Engineer at AVL and a Research and Development Engineer at Maquet Getinge Group, focusing on innovative designs for critical care systems. Early experiences include a research and development role at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. and internships at EPFL and Turkish Airlines Technic. Elif holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Design-Mechatronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
