Brian Hess has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Brian is currently working as a Lead Level Designer at OtherSide Entertainment since 2023. Previously, they served as a Lead Level Designer at Firaxis Games from 2013 to 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior World Designer at Bioware Austin from 2008 to 2012 and as a Senior Designer at Midway Studios Austin from 2006 to 2008. Brian also held positions as a Designer at Stormfront Studios from 2005 to 2006, a Level Designer at 3D Realms from 2004 to 2005, and a Level Designer at Gearbox Software from 2000 to 2004.

Brian Hess received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
