Tomi Peurakoski has extensive experience in journalism and news reporting. Tomi started their career in 1997 as a journalist at Channel Four News Finland, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a news reporter and journalist for Nelonen from 1998 to 2012. In 2013, they joined Sanoma News / Helsingin Sanomat / Nelosen uutiset as a reporter and journalist. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a news reporter at Helsingin Sanomat. Most recently, in 2017, they worked as a staff writer and producer at Vene-magazine at Otavamedia.

From 1991 to 1994, Tomi Peurakoski attended the University of Jyväskylä, where they pursued studies in speech communication and journalism.
