Our mission at Oslo International School (OIS) is to provide a broad, stimulating and balanced high quality education that is anchored in a diverse, dynamic and supportive school community.

Founded in 1963, OIS is a fully accredited independent international day school for students from 3 to 19 years of age (Pre-School to IB Diploma).  We have around 600 students from approximately 50 nations and primary teaching is in English.  

Our vision is to develop the unique potential of every student in line with our core values of respect, care, collaboration and innovation.

OIS is located in modern, architecturally unique facilities in a green suburban neighbourhood close to a public transportation hub. A school bus service is on offer to all children.

This includes strategic planning, curriculum development, staff supervision, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all students. The team collaborates closely to ensure the school's mission and vision are upheld, fostering academic excellence and personal growth for students from Pre-School to IB Diploma.
