David Guyatt is the co-founder and CEO of Osirium, a company that provides privileged access management solutions. David has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including stints as the CEO of Content Technologies and as an interim CEO at Clearswift.
Guyatt is a recognized pioneer in the field of content security, and they played a key role in establishing the market for content security software. David has also served on the boards of several other companies, including TextAnywhere, Menbus Ltd, and Pubs4U.
In 1995, Guyatt co-founded MIMEsweeper, which quickly became a leading content security solution with a worldwide market share of over 40%. David led the company through a dual-track M&A and IPO process in 2000, resulting in a $15M private placement for the business. The MIMEsweeper business was ultimately acquired for $1Bn in October 2000, and Guyatt served as an Executive Vice President of Baltimore's MIMEsweeper division until their resignation in May 2001.
In April 2002, Guyatt became a non-executive director of Clearswift, and they subsequently agreed to undertake an interim-CEO role at the company from December 2003 until March 2005. David then joined Osirium as its CEO, and they have since overseen the company's growth into a leading provider of privileged access management solutions.
David Guyatt went to Queen Mary's Grammar School and achieved a full set of orthodox "O" levels.
