Nathan Cao has an extensive work experience in data science and analytics. Nathan is currently a PhD Candidate & Research Scientist at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Nathan also holds the position of Data Scientist Principal at Oshkosh Corporation. Prior to that, Nathan worked as a Data Science Sr. Manager at McDonald's and as a Data Scientist Principal at Oshkosh Corporation. Nathan has also served as a Sr. Data Scientist at Huawei Technologies, Manager of Advanced Analytics at Kubota Engine America, and Manager of Data Analytics at MAT Holdings, Inc.

Nathan Cao has a Bachelor of Science degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from East China University of Political Science and Law, which they obtained in 2006. Nathan also holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Northwestern University. Furthermore, they have a Master of Business Administration degree in Management Sciences and Quantitative Methods from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition to their formal education, Nathan has obtained several certifications in various topics such as natural language processing, deep neural networks, data science, and java programming.
