Jenny Amos is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of bioengineering, currently serving as the Director of the Master of Engineering in Bioengineering Program and Teaching Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. With a career spanning over a decade at the University, Jenny has held multiple prestigious roles including Teaching Associate Professor and Sr. Lecturer. In addition to university roles, Jenny has been a Board of Experts Member for Fulbright Brazil since August 2020 and has contributed to ABET since 2012 as a Commissioner and Program Evaluator. As an Adjunct Professor at Njala University since June 2016, Jenny mentors faculty in Health Information Systems and collaborates with Sierra Leone's government on health records implementation. Jenny also serves as a Health Engineering Consultant at OSF Innovation and has previous experience as the Director of Assessment and Evaluation at Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Jenny's expertise is further enhanced by a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
