David currently serves as board member, and advisor to high growth technology companies. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director for the Accenture Cloud First practice. In this role, he was responsible for integration of his acquired company and business growth. He was appointed to this role following Cloud Sherpas acquisition by Accenture in October 2015. David previously served as the Chairman & CEO of Cloud Sherpas, focused on growing the business, maintaining client satisfaction and establishing Cloud Sherpas as the leading provider of cloud advisory and technology services. During his tenure, David led the organization through a period of hypergrowth, landing Cloud Sherpas on the Inc. 500 list three times and earning the top spot on the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2014 Pacesetter list. Cloud Sherpas growth was a combination of organic growth plus strategic M&A. Under David’s leadership he successfully created a team and culture of strong integration, innovation and success. David has over 25 years of experience leading professional services organizations with a focus on enterprise technology, having served as the COO of Capgemini North America, EVP of Kanbay, COO of Adjoined Consulting and CEO of Plaut Consulting. Additionally, David has been named a winner for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 in the Southeast for the technology category, recognized as one of Atlanta's most admired CEOs by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, plus as a top innovator by CRN magazine.
