Sunny Zhong is an Associate Product Designer at Oscar Health since October 2024, previously serving as a Product Design Apprentice at Flatiron Health, where contributions included designing a patient data abstraction platform. With a background as a Lead Clinical Data Analyst, Sunny led data curation efforts for non-small cell lung cancer, facilitating drug research and development. Additional roles at Flatiron included serving as Co-Chair of the AAPI ERG and collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to utilize real-world data. Sunny's experience also encompasses product design at Develop for Good, research at Cornell University focused on food insecurity and cancer, and a Quantitative Sciences Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. A graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Health, and Society, Sunny also studied at the National University of Singapore and is an alumna of Stuyvesant High School.
