Sheldon Pate has worked in the IT sector since 1990. Sheldon began their career at Sprint Communication Systems as a SR. NOS. Sheldon then moved to BroadRiver Communication Corporation as a Sales Engineer and then again as a Sales Engineer. In 2003, they became the IT Manager at the Atlanta Black Business Association. Sheldon then moved to Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Sr. Technician and WellPoint as an Engineer. In 2004, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Sr. Network Administrator, System Administrator, and Sr. System Administrator. In 2013, they moved to Raytheon as a SR. Computer Technologist. Finally, in 2021, they joined OSC Edge as an IT Service Management Program Manager ITIL MCP SEC+ NET+ and an ITSM Service Strategy Engineer - IT Signal Requirements Sr. Coordinator.

Sheldon Pate's education history includes service in the United States Army followed by attendance at Towers High School, Columbia High School, and Towers High School.
