Tom Hutchison is a Water Resources Engineer in Training (EIT) at Anchor QEA, specializing in river restoration projects in the Pacific Northwest to enhance salmonid habitats. Since January 2020, Tom has engaged in hydraulic modeling, geomorphic assessment, and engineering design for large-wood-based restoration projects. Prior experience includes a Summer Engineering Internship at Anchor QEA, where Tom focused on river restoration and hydraulic modeling, and an internship at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., concentrating on wastewater collection systems. Tom also serves as an Assistant Swim Coach at Issaquah High School since August 2021 and has a background in coaching youth swim teams and lifeguarding. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
