Dr. McDermott is a hand surgeon in Richmond. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery with a certificate of added qualifications in hand surgery, he received his bachelorā€™s degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapell Hill. He attended medical school at the Duke University School of Medicine and residency at Duke University Medical Center, and completed a fellowship at the Indiana Hand Center at Indiana University, Riley Childrenā€™s Hospital.
