Marijn Deurloo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marijn is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at ORTEC, where they support organizations in optimizing their business decisions through data and applied mathematics. Prior to this, they held the role of CEO and founder at imgZine, a startup that they grew from scratch to a team of 45 employees and generating over 1 million in revenue in just three years. Marijn has also worked as the Managing Partner/Head of Product at ORTEC, where they helped companies create value in various industries. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Marijn worked as a Principal Consultant at HiperQ and as CTO at Adtrackxys. Marijn also held positions at i-mapping, Telegraaf Classified Media/Speurders, Telegraaf Media ICT, and Telegraaf Media Management, where they served in various management and strategic roles.
Marijn Deurloo earned a Propaedeuse in Aeronautical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in the years 1988 to 1991. Later, Marijn pursued further education, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Crossmedia at MBA Crossmedia in 2007-2008. Additionally, Marijn obtained certificates from Nyenrode Business University, including the Telegraaf Senior Executive Program in 2005-2006 and the Telegraaf Young Management Program in 2003-2004. Marijn has also gained additional certifications in subjects such as calculus and mechanics from institutions like MITx on edX and TU Delft (DelftX).
