George Mauger is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in process and automation engineering. Currently employed at Ortec Inc. since August 2016, George focuses on designing and specifying process equipment while implementing automation solutions utilizing Allen-Bradley PLC systems. Prior experience as a production consultant at Ortec Machining and Fabrication involved developing a custom order-management system that improved product management efficiency and reduced machine downtime. George's self-employment as an iOS app engineer led to the creation of an app for locating food-allergy-safe products. Earlier experience at Eastman Chemical Company included roles as a process development engineer and supply chain production planner, where George contributed to significant capital projects and enhancements in production planning. George holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Clemson University.
