Pierluigi Riva serves as the Chief Technology Officer at ORS Group since February 2013, where responsibilities include designing and driving new projects and implementing chosen technologies and techniques. Riva has been the Owner of ORS since 1997. Academic roles include positions as a Contract Professor of Optimization and a Contract Professor of Operations Research at Università degli Studi di Torino from 2010 to 2013 and 1999 to 2007, respectively. Education credentials encompass a PhD in Mathematical Programming from The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with an Executive Education in Computer Science from Columbia Business School completed in December 2018. Additionally, Riva is currently pursuing Executive Education in Algorithmic Trading at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, initiated in 2019.
