Sybille Cyr has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sybille worked as a Bookkeeper and Manager of Human Resources and Grant Accounting at ORPC from March 2012 to December 2014. During their time at ORPC, they built a database to track project expenses, oversaw invoice processing, and prepared budget reports. Sybille then returned to ORPC in May 2023 as a Budget Manager.
Prior to their time at ORPC, Sybille worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund (German Confederation of Trade Unions) from February 2008 to December 2009 and from January 2010 to August 2011. In this role, they scheduled and coordinated international meetings, conferences, and events, organized visits of international delegations, and supported the company president and executive staff.
Before their employment at Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund, Sybille worked as an Office Manager at Einblick Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, a small publishing company. Sybille organized the workflow for the entire company, served as a liaison for customers and authors, and assisted journalists with their research. Sybille held this position from 2003 to 2008.
Sybille's first job was as a Department Head at Buchhandlung (Bookstore) Kiepert GmbH &Co.KG, one of Berlin's largest bookstores, from 1995 to 2002. In this role, they managed two departments, up to 10 registries, and a staff of 20. Sybille was responsible for personnel management and coordinating bookstore activities.
Sybille Cyr's education history begins with their completion of high school at Friedrich-Engels-Gymnasium, where they obtained their Abitur degree in 1985. From 1986 to 1995, they attended Freie Universität Berlin, where they pursued studies in a variety of subjects, including North American Studies, Spanish, Archeology, and Art History. In 1996 to 1998, Sybille attended Oberstufenzentrum Wirtschaft und Verwaltung, where they earned a Buchhändlerin degree, equivalent to an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. In 2004 to 2005, they attended the Zentrum für Gewaltfreie Kommunikation (Center of Nonviolent Communication), where they obtained their Trainer of Nonviolent Communication qualification.
