Avi Lessner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy systems and project management. At Ormat Technologies, Inc. since August 2017, Avi has held various roles including Projects Director for Energy Storage Systems, Presale and Business Development Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer. Previous experience includes service as a Staff Sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces, overseeing logistics and mission completion for a paratrooper battalion. Earlier roles include Energy Management and Powerhouse Field Engineer at DuPont, focusing on safe operations of power systems, and a Smart Grid Researcher at Lehigh University, where Avi developed renewable energy models. The academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.
