Ryan Cheek has extensive experience in the utilities sector, currently serving in Combined Cycle Operations at Orlando Utilities Commission since May 2013. Prior to this role, Ryan Cheek worked at GenOn from July 2000 to January 2012, progressing from Shift Supervisor/Control Operator to Operations Manager. In the Operations Manager position, Ryan Cheek was responsible for managing Operations and Maintenance Departments, overseeing environmental, safety, and health programs, as well as training and procedural auditing. As a Shift Supervisor, responsibilities included scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, operating multiple natural circulation boilers and gas turbines, performing fuel oil transfers, conducting boiler chemistry analysis, and participating in the site emergency response team.
