Tarja Limnell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pharmaceutical research and development, currently serving as a Senior Development Manager at Orion Corporation since October 2006, focusing on CMC coordination in new medicine development. Limnell has held various roles within Orion, including Interim Project Manager and Senior Scientist, primarily in non-clinical studies. Previous experience includes a position as a Researcher at the University of Helsinki, where Limnell conducted doctoral studies on mesoporous materials and supervised students. Limnell started the academic career as a Trainee at the University of Turku, where practical training contributed to the Master’s Thesis in Synthetic Drug Chemistry. Limnell holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Biosciences from the University of Turku.
