Mikko Passiniemi has extensive experience in the field of medicinal chemistry and laboratory operations, currently serving as a Senior Lab Rat at Orion Corporation since October 2010, where responsibilities include setting up synthesis robotics and collaborating with colleagues to leverage data. Prior to this role, Mikko held the position of Head of Chemistry Laboratory Operations in the Medicine Design unit, managing technical staff and overseeing laboratory facilities and equipment. With a background as a Senior Scientist specializing in laboratory automation and an expertise in CNS and oncology projects, Mikko has also contributed as a Business Lead for Cloud ELN solutions in synthetic chemistry. Mikko's academic foundation includes research experience at Helsinki University of Technology from January 2001 to April 2010, and education at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completed in 2002.
