David Armes is a seasoned telecoms engineer with extensive experience in technical support, maintenance, and project work related to telecommunications systems. Currently serving as a Senior Telecoms Engineer at Orion Group since February 2023, David previously worked as a Telecoms Technician at SUTTON ELECTRONICS (FIELD SERVICES) LIMITED and held positions at Shell for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included overseeing telecoms and radio systems both onshore and offshore. David's earlier roles include Field Engineer positions at Ericsson and T-Mobile UK, focusing on the maintenance of radio networks, as well as a Radio Engineer role at Radiophone Ltd, specializing in VHF and UHF systems. Educational qualifications include a City and Guilds degree in electronic servicing from Norwich ITECH, obtained between 1991 and 1993.
