Marc Schmit is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in directing HR operations across Europe and the EMEA region. Currently serving as Human Resources Director Europe and Prokurist at Orion Engineered Carbons since September 2017, Marc also holds the position of Director General at Orion Engineered Carbons France SAS. Previous roles include Head of Personnel at Paul Wagner et Fils SA and Deputy Head of Personnel at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where Marc focused on payroll accuracy, training needs assessment, employee satisfaction, compliance policies, and HR policy optimization. Educated with a Master of Arts in International Management from the International School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz, Marc has a strong foundation in human resources developed through various internship and project roles.
