Laura Ferris is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within hospital settings. Currently serving as the Director of Surgery and Regional Women & Children at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital since June 2017, Laura has also held multiple interim positions overseeing programs related to Regional Women & Children, Kidney Care, Cancer Care, and Genetics. Additionally, Laura has experience in critical and emergency care from previous roles at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre and Georgian Bay General Hospital. Recently, Laura served as the Interim Regional Director for North Simcoe Muskoka with the Ontario Renal Network. Laura possesses a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from York University, and two Master's degrees in Business Administration and Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix. Furthermore, Laura has a certificate in Health Sciences from Georgian College.
