Kanni Muniandy Short has extensive experience in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Group Manager Asset Integrity & Assurance for Generation & Development at Origin Energy since January 2012. Previous roles at Origin Energy include acting as the Group Manager Risk and Assurance for Energy Markets and serving as the Process Safety Manager and Integrated Systems Lead within the LPG division. Before joining Origin Energy, Kanni Muniandy Short worked as a Senior Risk Consultant at GHD and as a Senior Risk Engineer at Lloyd's Register. Early in the career, Kanni Muniandy Short held the position of Process Engineer at BlueScope. Kanni Muniandy Short holds both a Bachelor of Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University.
