Daniel Teng is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Group Manager for Electricity & Carbon Portfolio at Origin Energy since May 2010, where responsibilities include managing the wholesale electricity and carbon portfolio. Prior roles at Origin Energy include Head of Portfolio Optimisation and Manager of Portfolio Optimisation & Development. Before joining Origin, Daniel Teng worked at Marsh as the Structured Products & Market Analysis Manager and Senior Analyst from January 2007 to May 2010, and at Aon as an Actuarial Analyst from April 2005 to December 2006. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship from the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) in General Insurance from 2007 to 2009 and dual degrees in Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) and Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from UNSW, completed in 2004. Daniel Teng completed secondary education at North Sydney Boys High School from 1995 to 2000.
