Nuno Goncalves is an experienced Chemical Engineering professional with a strong background in both industry and regulatory environments. Currently serving as an Inspection Team Leader and Chemical Production Technologist at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) since January 2022, Nuno previously held a similar role at OPCW from 2010 to 2017. Nuno's experience also includes senior positions at Sanquin as a Senior Process Engineer, where responsibilities involved commissioning GMP equipment and managing production lines. Earlier career roles spanned various engineering responsibilities at organizations such as Aker Solutions and Safco Sabic, contributing to projects in polyolefins and process control. Nuno holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
