Keith Smolkowski is a Senior Research Scientist at the Oregon Research Institute, where research interests focus on the academic and social behavior of children and adolescents, as well as the evaluation of curricula and interventions. With over 20 years of experience in social science, education, and public health research, Keith has designed and analyzed complex research projects, including group-randomized and longitudinal trials. Additionally, Keith holds a Courtesy Research Associate position at the University of Oregon's Center on Teaching and Learning and has previously served at the Institute on Violence and Destructive Behavior. As a former Research Methodologist and Principal at Abacus Research, Keith specialized in consulting on research design and statistical analysis. Educational credentials include a Doctorate in Special Education and a Master's in Decision Making & Statistics from the University of Oregon, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Psychology.
