Donald Orr is an accomplished Announcer and Producer at OPB since December 2019, serving also as a Joan Cirillo Emerging Journalist Fellow and General Assignment Reporter. Previous experience includes an internship with OPB as an AAJA/SPJ Emerging Northwest Journalist Intern and a role at Orange Media Network as a Resident Assistant for the High School Journalism Institute, where responsibilities included mentoring students and managing digital engagement. Donald's leadership as Station Manager at KBVR-FM involved overseeing a large team of DJs and managing all station content, while also serving as Productions Director, producing a range of audio content, and establishing a podcast network. Donald holds a BA in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University, complemented by a minor in Asian Languages and Cultures.
