Spencer Garland is an experienced Digital Learning Strategist at OMSI, responsible for enhancing the museum's online presence through content creation across various platforms. In addition, Spencer serves as a mentor for Teenage Engineering and teaches at BRENDA ARTS, focusing on film history and media literacy for POC youth. Previous roles include Lead Game Designer at Panic, Inc. for the upcoming Quantum Phantom Basketball and teaching at Caldera Arts, where Spencer engaged students in theme park design. Spencer has directed several music videos for artists such as Open Mike Eagle and milo, demonstrating expertise in filmmaking and creative direction. A graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies, Spencer has cultivated a rich background in education, mentorship, and the arts.
