Canary L. currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Family Nurse Practitioner at Oregon Health & Science University since June 2023. With extensive experience in nursing, prior roles include Family Nurse Practitioner at Know Allergy, LLC, and Staff Registered Nurse at UMass Memorial Health. Canary L. has contributed significantly to the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership as Director of Alumni since September 2014, after engaging as a volunteer Facilitator. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Education Studies from Middlebury College.
