Peter Shum is an accomplished Senior Database Administrator currently employed at Oregon Community Credit Union since April 2019. Previously, Peter served as a Data Architect and Database Administrator at Eugene Water & Electric Board from October 2012 to April 2019, focusing on data modeling, governance, and SQL Server management. Before that, Peter held the position of Application Services Manager at the City of Eugene for over 22 years, managing various IT teams and leading significant enterprise projects. Peter's early career experience includes roles as a Senior Database Administrator and Programmer/Analyst, alongside academic positions as an Assistant and Visiting Professor in computer science. Peter holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from Hope College.
