Ron Mobed has held executive positions in information and analytics companies including seven years as CEO at Elsevier where he led the digital transformation of the business and five years as division President/COO at IHS, which he helped to take public. Earlier, he held various positions at Schlumberger in the USA, Africa and Asia.

He is currently a Non-Executive Director at Aveva PLC, a FTSE100 global leader in industrial software, and a Supervisory Board Member at Fugro N.V., the world’s leading geo-data specialist. He has also been a non-executive director at Argus Media.

Ron holds a BA/MA from Cambridge University and a MSc from Imperial College London and is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and of the Institute of Directors.
