Robert Lewis is a seasoned forensic scientist with extensive experience in various forensic analysis and chemical investigations. Currently serving as a Reporting Forensic Scientist at Orchid Cellmark since July 2013, Robert specializes in evidence types such as paint, glass, flammable liquids, and fire investigation. Prior to this role, Robert held positions as a Technical Advisor at LGC Forensics, producing expert witness statements and conducting chemical analyses, and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England, where forensic and analytical science courses were delivered. Robert also managed the chemistry section at Lothian and Borders Police and worked as a Higher Scientific Officer at Forensic Science Northern Ireland, focusing on explosives analysis. Academically, Robert holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Queens University of Belfast and a Graduateship from Ulster University.
