Henrietta Mackenzie has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Senior Account Manager at Eulogy! in 2006. Henrietta then moved to Z'est Corporate as an Account Director in 2007, before joining Waggener Edstrom Communications in 2009, where they held the roles of Client Development Director, EMEA, Associate Director, and Account Director. In 2015, they moved to Edelman as an Associate Director, and then to Branch Road as Head of New Business in 2019. Most recently, they have been a Freelance Public Relations Consultant at Henri M Comms since 2021, and is currently a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant at ORCA Computing and an Associate Director at Babel PR.

Henrietta Mackenzie obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Music from Newcastle University between 1996 and 1998. In April 2016, they also received a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Additionally, they hold a Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring certification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
