Marcus Hays is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader with a strong background in electric and hybrid vehicle innovations. As the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at ORBIS ELECTRIC since January 2015, Marcus has led a team in developing an efficient electric drivetrain that enhances vehicle performance by improving unsprung weight and reducing overall mass. Previously, as a Principal Consultant at Schiller Bikes, Marcus co-invented a human-powered waterbike and was instrumental in product development and patent writing. Co-founding PiMobility, Marcus contributed to the creation and patenting of zero-emission mobility technologies, along with foundational roles at Electrobike and Jinriksha, where Marcus facilitated key developments in the electric bike market and hybrid vehicle designs, respectively. Marcus is an alumnus of the ArtCenter College of Design.
