Rob Dower holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (University of Cape Town), a Master of Business Administration (INSEAD). Rob joined Allan Gray Proprietary Limited in August 2003. He is a Director of Allan Gray Group Proprietary Limited, Orbis Holdings Limited, and Orbis Allan Gray Limited. He was Chief Operating Officer of Allan Gray Proprietary Limited from June 2009 to June 2018. He previously worked as a management consultant with McKinsey.
